Have you ever forgotten about your daughter’s birthday and then she gets all mad that you don’t love her anymore and storms off to her room? Yeah, me neither, but I assume that it would be a lot like forgetting the first (and most important) birthday of deandagati.com.
Yesssss, on February 6th, deandagati.com turned ONE YEAR OLD! While it’s gone through a lot of changes since then, as all children do, I still love it and am excited to watch it grow up over the next 17 years.

Apparently my website is getting viewed lately by more than just my friends. I’ve recently discovered that it’s being seen by CCHS teachers like Ms. Harding, distant family members, friends of my parents, and even… my parents. Creepy as that is, I just want to say a quick Happy Birthday to my dad and Happy Thanksgiving to everybody else!

While birthdays and getting hundreds of Facebook comments are always fun, this post isn’t about me. Yeah, it is my birthday, but it is also ERIN MALONEY’S BIRTHDAY! She is one of my favorite deandagati.com readers and a friend of mine that I wish I got to see more often then I actually do. It’s actually kind of ironic since she’s spending most of the summer in NEW YORK while I’m spending it in FLORIDA and then once school starts, we switch!
Anyway, she told me to post a blog about my birthday, but instead I’m posting a blog about HER birthday. HAH
