Some of the amazing people that hit up deandagati.com also have sites & blogs of their own that are just as awesome (if not more) than mine. Today, the website on which you are reading these words achieved a pretty incredible accomplishment. With just 5 days to go until it’s one-year birthday, today, deandagati.com received it’s ten thousandth hit.
In the last few months, the popularity of this site has skyrocketed. While it’s probably because of the free t-shirt contests, it still means so much to me that all of you are willing to come to deandagati.com and read (or watch!) about my life (or even wear my name on your chest!).
The hits do not count my own (otherwise we’d be at like 20k by now hah), and the majority come from Florida, but there has been increased traffic coming from New York and several other states around the country.
Thanks again to everyone who has supported me, and this website over the past 11 months!

Okay so, I went to a couple of high school plays last year at the Coop, I’ve been to a Broadway show or two in my life… but I definitely don’t know much about the theater, musicals, or plays in general. That being said, I went to go see the NYU production of “I’ll Be Damned” last night because a friend of mine starred in it. I honestly wasn’t expecting too much, but it was SO GOOD. Like High School Musical good. What? I didn’t say that. Seriously though, if it makes its way to Broadway, I definitely recommend it. (Anything that combines a comic book nerd looking for friendship with Satin betting God for a chance to go back to heaven has gotta be good right?)
Also, this website now has over 1,000 hits (and probably 2,000 if you count all of mine, lol). So first I want to say thanks (THANKS!), but also, as you may have noticed, the site looks really boring. That’s because I used a template… I didn’t want to put a lot of work into customizing it if nobody was ever gunna see it… BUT, now that I have a thousand hits, I think it’s worth upgrading it a little. I’ll try to do that soon if NYU ever gives me a second to myself…

This website has only been up for a little over two weeks and it already has over 500 hits. Normally, I would just assume that all of those hits are my own… but it’s set not to count me! And it shows that about 65% of those hits are from Florida, 23% are from New York, and 12% are from other states. Even a hit from Puerto Rico & one from Germany! (Weird? Yes. Since I don’t know anyone in those countries…) So, even though nobody likes to comment, there actually are some people out there that want to read about me… And for that, thank you!
PS. I love how on the day I post this, my site gets ZERO hits. FML. That’s nothing a little Facebook status can’t fix ;)
PPS. Speaking of FML… fmylife.com… All the cool kids are doing it.
