HOTTTTTTTTTTT

April 7th, 2010

No, I’m not talking about Sloan from Entourage like you were obviously assuming.

I’m talking about the WEATHER.

Today, the high in Miami, FL was 81 degrees. In New York City? 92!! — the highest temperature that it’s ever been in NYC on April 7th.

Average temps for this time of year are in the 40’s and 50’s. Most people around here would rather it be really hot than cold, but I’ve got all summer to melt under the Florida sun, so let’s see those 50’s!

It’s like Florida up in here.

April 4th, 2010

Temperature outside right now in Manhattan: 71.

SEVENTY ONE!

In fact, the weather over the past like week or so has just been awesome. High’s in the 60’s and 70’s every day with nooooo rain.

The best part is that it’s supposed to stay like this. Winter is officially ouuutt of here.

Speaking of “out of here,” the Yankees first game of the season against the Red Sox is going down tonight. So… check that out on ESPN2 at 8. But that’s another story.

The picture above is from Central Park the other day when the fam was here. Here are a couple more pics from when they were in NYC. (Click for full size)

Happy Easter!

Spring Break Oh Ten (?)

March 23rd, 2010

Spring Break was good.

I didn’t do anything amazing.

I didn’t break out the beer bong at the beach like the Miami Herald thinks I should have.

I hung around Florida with friends, slept, and got to wear t-shirts for the first time in months.

Spring Break was good.

What did you do for Spring Break?

FLORIDA IS HOT!

November 24th, 2009

photo 2-1

It’s amazing to be home. It really is. The temperature may be a little crazy (87 in November? Seriously?), but it’s been great catching up with everyone that I haven’t seen in so long (3 months!). As much as people love to hate it, Cooper City has some of the best people in the world.

And you know what? I’ve been driving! Serious driving! Went to a few SoFla Starbucks locations, got lost a couple of times, hit up the Turnpike and i95, went down to Miami today! First song I heard when I got in the car, though: “Empire State of Mind” by Jay-Z. I’ve heard it about 83 times since then, too. Didn’t realize that song was as big here as it is in New York.

I’ll be here until Monday and would like to see every person that I’ve ever met.
Lets do it.

IT’S HOT.

April 26th, 2009

I am freezing right now.
It’s 87 degrees outside, but I’m rockin the A/C and man, UHall has some kick ass air conditioning! It’s gotta be like 35 degrees in here! I LOVE IT! Just like the CTV room ;)

Anyway, let’s get back to that whole 87 degrees thing.
I LIVE IN NEW YORK CITY!
The average for April is like 65!
87 is the hottest that it’s ever been on April 26th, ever.
(Lonnie Quinn told me so on CBS2!)

What I don’t understand is how we went from being 20 degrees below average like… a week ago, and now we’re 20 above! I deffinitely like this better though. One layer is the way to go. I miss Florida.

Okay, I’m going to get back to writing this 14 page paper and not enjoying the beautiful day.
Peace.

I forgot how amazing the weather in Florida is…
Last year, I totally would have complained about 85 degree temps in March, but after experiencing my first real winter in NYC, this Spring Break of 80’s is lookin’ pretty good =)

Hit me up!
