Introducing the deandagati.com FANS PAGE!

March 6th, 2010

Notice anything different around here?

(When there’s midterms to study for there’s always time to spruce up deandagati.com)

In addition to the new banner at the top of the page (which is a picture of Washington Square Park I took from the NYU Kimmel Center yesterday), there is now a new dedicated page dedicated to the amazing people that support this website.

Check out: deandagati.com/fans

University of Florida (aka Cooper City in Gainesville)

January 14th, 2010

After two days in Orlando, and lots of packing to do back home, I decided that I’d better take a two-hour detour in the wrong direction to Gainesville & the University of Florida.

As I’ve mentioned on this blog before, I’m not much of a UF fan (want to see my rejection letter?) despite the fact that both my parents went there and live for everything Gator. In fact, the first time I went there, I didn’t even like the campus all that much. But this time was different. The only other time I’d ever been there was on the weekend during the summer… so I didn’t get a real feel for the school. This time, however, I was there on a Wednesday in the Spring, so it was an entirely different experience… and I hate to say that I liked it.

There are so many kids from Cooper City at UF right now (and they all live in Broward Hall, hahah) so it was a lot of fun to see them all (plus Kelly!). I was only there for a few hours but I managed to meet up with a ton of people and eat at my favorite Gainesville restaurant PITA PIT! (Which is apparently a chain?)

Now I’m back in the Coop but I uploaded all of my pictures to Facebook so you can check them out here: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2037826

Facebook Fan Page

January 9th, 2010

I made deandagati.com a fan page on Facebook. While that’s obviously insanely awesome (slash pathetic) I just wanted to say what’s up to anyone who has never been here before.

Here’s what you can find on this website…

The part that you’re reading right now is a pretty standard blog. All of my recent posts are about Cooper City related things since that’s where I’ve been chillin this Winter Break, but normally you’ll find posts here about New York and NYU. (Click some of the tags like “nyc” on the right hand column to see what I mean.)

I also try to include at least one picture with every post, so if you don’t like reading, feel free to just scroll down and look at the pretty pics. (And click that Facebook-esqe “I like this” button!)

If you want to see videos, click on the links right under that huge ass logo (shut up maxie/alex/taylor) with my name on it at the top of the page. Click on CTV to watch old segments and episodes from my days at CCHS, click on NYU to see what I’ve been working on in New York, or click on ORIGINALS to watch other stuff like the Trip to Florida videos that aren’t for school.

Here’s the fan page link:

PS. If you wan’t a t-shirt, click here!

200 pictures!?

May 23rd, 2009

200-picsAlthough, I admit, I’m on Facebook way more than I should be, I’m happy to say that I’m not one of those people that uploads thousands upon thousands of pictures every day. I’m not one of those people that takes a digital camera with me everywhere I go. I’m not one of those people that has to create 4 different albums to post pictures from my most recent trip to Ikea because I have far more pictures than the 60 Facebook lets you put in one album. Well, to those people, upload away, because Facebook changed the limit to 200.

I have to go. There are pictures to be looked at.
