HOTTTTTTTTTTT

April 7th, 2010

No, I’m not talking about Sloan from Entourage like you were obviously assuming.

I’m talking about the WEATHER.

Today, the high in Miami, FL was 81 degrees. In New York City? 92!! — the highest temperature that it’s ever been in NYC on April 7th.

Average temps for this time of year are in the 40’s and 50’s. Most people around here would rather it be really hot than cold, but I’ve got all summer to melt under the Florida sun, so let’s see those 50’s!

SnowSnowSnowSnowSnowSnow (Poll)

February 26th, 2010

This morning, I woke up to a phone call at 7:00am. Normally, I hate when phone calls wake me up since they are usually a recorded message telling me I’ve won a free 3-day, 4-night all-inclusive trip to the Orlando resort area, but this time was different. This time, it was a call from NYU alerting me that all classes today have been cancelled and that the University is closed. SNOW DAY NUMBER 2!

I was supposed to work today, though. I kind of wanted the hours since I only get 4 a week, but whatever.

It’s still snowing outside. We’ve gotten over 20 inches so far, which is ridiculous. All kinds of record breaking.

Here are some pics I took today and yesterday. I didn’t go out in it this time. I’m ready for Spring, yo. Click for full size.

Have you ever had a snow day?

FLORIDA TOMORROW!

May 7th, 2009

Someone once said to me, “Why do you bother to check the weather in Florida? It’s always the same!” I then explained to her that it rains a lot in the summer, but who knows, maybe she was right =)

IT’S HOT.

April 26th, 2009

I am freezing right now.
It’s 87 degrees outside, but I’m rockin the A/C and man, UHall has some kick ass air conditioning! It’s gotta be like 35 degrees in here! I LOVE IT! Just like the CTV room ;)

Anyway, let’s get back to that whole 87 degrees thing.
I LIVE IN NEW YORK CITY!
The average for April is like 65!
87 is the hottest that it’s ever been on April 26th, ever.
(Lonnie Quinn told me so on CBS2!)

What I don’t understand is how we went from being 20 degrees below average like… a week ago, and now we’re 20 above! I deffinitely like this better though. One layer is the way to go. I miss Florida.

Okay, I’m going to get back to writing this 14 page paper and not enjoying the beautiful day.
Peace.

Ugly Puppets & Beautiful People

April 24th, 2009

It’s been a while since I’ve been to a Broadway show, but my grandparents are in town, so we went go to see Avenue Q. Yes… I saw Avenue Q… a show about sex crazed puppets… with my grandparents. Lol, but hey, the ticket was free! It wasn’t as incredibly awkward to see it with them as I expected it to be, and the show was really good! So you know, next time you’re roaming around the New York City area, check it out… Here’s an illegal picture I took of the set ;)

As for the beautiful people, the weather in New York today was incredible. Upper 60’s, lower 70’s and sunny all day. When the weather is nice, the insanely hot girls just FLOCK to the streets & parks. And while the NYU girls out today in Washington Square were nice and all, those tourists in Times Square were incredible. I got so many phone numbers today (hahahahahahahahahahahaahahahaha, yeah right.)

We are getting FLORIDA weather later this weekend!
88 fucking degrees on Sunday!
That’s record breaking and more than 20 degrees above average.

Thanks to everyone who reads this blog. It means a lot =)
